On a bi-annual basis, the Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame will host an Induction Ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of the newest members chosen.
Attended by current members, local dignitaries and sports enthusiasts this event features a prominent personality ranging from athletes, sports broadcasting and officials.
In year’s past, the list of speakers has included:
Frank ‘King’ Clancy, Allan Eagleson, Rod Gilbert, Don Cherry, Steve Douglas, Bob Taylor, Brian Budd, Gord Stellick, Rod Black, Elliotte Friedman, Paul Rosen, George Black, Scott Russell, Ron Finn, Brett Callighen and Kerry Fraser.
