Right from the start it was made clear that the Hall of Fame would be reserved for men and women of Collingwood who have made outstanding contributions to the sports scene.

Every candidate is judged on the manner in which he or she has played the game.

Classification of Inductees

There shall be three (3) classes of induction into the Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame.

1. Player
2. Builder
3. Team

The Nomination Forms are available to be completed on the Eligibility Criteria tab during the Request for Nomination period.

Selection Committee

A meeting of the Selection Committee consisting of esteemed CSHOF Inductees, meticulously vets all submitted applications in the induction year, not less than sixty days prior to the bi-annual induction ceremony.  The same endorsement policy (simple majority) will apply for athletes, builders and teams..  The Committee’s recommendations are then presented for approval at a subsequent BOD meeting for final approval.
