Nominations shall be made on official nomination forms and submitted to the Selection Committee Chair by the governing body of the particular sport or by an individual, and contain the fullest possible data concerning the record and merits of each candidate.

All nominations submitted will be considered for election in the year nominated and succeeding years. Nominations forms of nominees not elected to the Hall after being considered for five (5) years may be placed in an inactive file at the discretion of the Selection Committee upon the request of a Committee member.

Completed form(s) are to be sealed in an enveloped addressed to the Collingwood Sports Hall of Fame and dropped off at the Collingwood Public Library – 55 Ste. Marie Street, Collingwood, Ontario or Collingwood Aquatic Centre – 451 Third Street, Collingwood, Ontario

All submitted forms will be reviewed by the Selection Committee with recommendations forwarded to the Board of Directors for approval.
